A NOTE FROM

Storie Collective

After a full day in the District, I love to come home to my family's safe space. The calm nature of a Storie Collective interior is the perfect compliment to a busy city life, bringing peace and belonging to our inner self. Cozying up by our fire while we listen to jazz and play board games is one of our favorite ways to decompress together. Our preference for living in a minimal aesthetic appeals for beauty in function. Proper storage is essential for our busy lifestyle, ensuring that everything has a home and spaces can stay tidy despite heavy everyday use. Although we are in the city, the intentional design of our backyard allows us to connect with nature; it is my favorite place to enjoy morning coffee or a cozy fire, and is the perfect spot for us to explore raised bed gardening including fruits, vegetables and herbs.
