When this couple bought their home the kitchen was full of odd angles. They new they wanted to open up the space to the family room and make it function better for them and their kids. We increased the size of the doorway into the family room and straightened the room giving more functional storage. The white oak cabinets lighten the space while the rich merlot gives the room depth.
