We utilize various communication methods, including email, phone, and video calls, to gather all the necessary information to create a personalized and thoughtfully designed space that meets your specific needs.

Regardless of your location, all of our design service packages include a Zoom calls with your dedicated UKB expertly trained kitchen designer. Additionally, our founder, Tanya Smith-Shiflett, personally reviews every design throughout the entire process.

JUST A TOUCH
This package has been created to have just a touch of UKB in your home such as a small vanity, island or built in. This is to create one custom piece for your home. This package includes 1 call with our design team.
Looking for a quick design to see how your space can come to life? At a Glance is great for getting an idea of your space without needing color renderings. This design service includes black and white floor plans and elevations. Color designs can be added to this service if you decided you want to see your design in full color. This package includes 2 calls with our design team.
Our most luxurious service, the Luxe includes black and white floorplan, elevations and 2 color views with a shoppable mood board that offers direct links to products used in your design. This package includes 4 calls with our design team.
Looking for a quick design to see how your kitchen can come to life? Our design package 1 is great for getting an idea of your space without needing color renderings. Color rendering can be added to this package.
Our most luxurious package, the luxe package includes black and white renderings with a floorplan, elevations and 3 color renderings with a shoppable moodboard that offers direct links to products used in your design.
Our most comprehensive package, the Signature Package includes all the elements previously listed with an additional rendering view and a more robust moodboard—including every detail down to the appliances and complete with direct shopping links.
The more extensive Vibe Package includes a black-and-white floorplan with elevations and one color rendering that captures our collaborative vision. Your custom moodboard will include all selections recommended for the concept.

THE VIBE
This design package includes black and white floorplans, elevations and 2 color rendering to see your space come to life in color.
THE LUXE
This design package includes black and white floorplans, elevations, and 3 color renderings with a sourcing list to everything used in your design and direct shopping links to shop at your own leisure.
All design services include pricing for cabinetry.
Prior to your consultation call, we will need your room measurements if you have them ( If not we can help you gather them with our easy to use measuring guide ) selected appliance if you have them ( If not we can help with that also ) pictures of your existing space and any inspiration images you have saved.

A edit is moving things around in the kitchen which we love to do to make it just perfect for you! If you require a full floorplan change after our designs are presented that could lead to additional design fees.
At UKB, our kitchen design plans are meticulously crafted to include all essential wall measurements, including window and door openings, as well as ceiling heights. These measurements are integrated into the floorplans and elevations to assist you comprehensively in planning your future kitchen layout. However, we do not include cabinetry sizes in our designs unless you purchase our custom cabinetry. This is because every cabinetry company constructs cabinetry differently, which could vary significantly in style, size, and material. You can use our designs with any company and they can fill the designs in with their brand of cabinetry.
Cabinetry pricing is given after designs have been approved.
Pricing includes the cost of the cabinetry. We do not charge for delivery.
At UKB, we strive to provide a seamless and comprehensive design experience for our clients. Once you purchase your design service, you will receive three calls with your designated designer to ensure your project aligns perfectly with your vision.1. Consultation Call
This is scheduled within 1 to 3 days after you purchase your service. During this initial call, our designer will discuss your goals, preferences, and specific needs for your kitchen, bath or any room we are designing. 2 . Layout Review Call
Approximately 5 to 7 days after your consultation call, we will have a layout review call. During this session, we will review the preliminary black-and-white design and discuss the proposed layout and cabinetry inserts. This step allows us to refine the design and ensure every detail meets your expectations.3. Finalization Call
In the final call, we will go over the final design, making any necessary adjustments before moving forward so we can start pricing your cabinetry.Throughout the process, our goal at UKB is to deliver a beautiful, custom-designed kitchen , bath or any room in your home that perfectly fits your lifestyle and aesthetic preferences.
All design fees are non-refundable.
Measuring your kitchen space accurately is crucial for a successful custom design. At UKB, we offer several convenient options to ensure precise measurements:1. **Measuring Guides**: We provide detailed measuring guides upon request to help you measure your space accurately. These guides cover all the essential aspects of measuring, from floorplans to cabinet heights and widths. Simply contact us, and we'll send you the necessary guides.2. **Professional Measurements**: If you prefer professional assistance, you can have your contractor or builder measure your space. They can follow the measuring guides to ensure everything is measured correctly.3. **On-site Measurement Services**: Depending on your location, we may have professional measurers available in your area. Feel free to inquire about our measurement services to see if we can send an expert to your home.By utilizing one of these options, you'll ensure that your custom kitchen design by UKB fits perfectly and meets your expectations.
At UKB, ensuring precise measurements is a critical part of our process to create beautiful and functional spaces. After designing your dream space and your cabinetry has been paid for , we will provide a final set of detailed designs for you, your contractor, or builder to double-check all measurements before we proceed to cabinetry production. This stage is known as the "sign-off package phase" We encourage thorough verification to ensure everything fits perfectly in your space. Our team is here to support you every step of the way, offering guidance and assistance to ensure accuracy and satisfaction in the final product. By collaborating closely with you and your contractors, we aim to deliver custom cabinetry that matches your unique vision while maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.

Yes you can. You must buy a package for each room we are designing.
